ezra community homes project

Completed in 2004, the Ezra Community Homes project resulted in affordable homes being built in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood for working families.  Today 95 families - some earning as little as $18,000 a year - own an 'Ezra' home. Recent developments that have sprung up around the newly built homes, including other new homes, retail businesses, and a new district police station testify to a neighborhood being transformed.
