Episcopal Charities Welcomes 'Julians' Episcopal Charities and Community Services welcomes eight young men and women from around the country who comprise the inaugural class of The Julian Year. “Julians,” as participants are called, live in the space where their spiritual life overlaps with the needs of the world through intentional community and simple living at home, meaningful work at an internship site, spiritual development both in community as well as individually, and pubic life formation.
