Catherine Jefcoat

Associate Director of Resource Development

Catherine Jefcoat joined Episcopal Charities & Community Services in January 2010.  As Associate Director of Resource Development, Catherine works with individuals, foundations, and parishes to develop support for ECCS’ ministries.  Via phone calls, meetings, mail, emails, and the annual Bishop’s Ball, Catherine is responsible for developing and managing mutually beneficial strategies for engaging donors in fulfilling ECCS’s mission.

Catherine joins Episcopal Charities with more than 12 years of experience in strengthening highly regarded not-for-profit organizations in Chicago.  She has directed communications and fundraising programs while also developing the delivery of services and programs for diverse organizations, including a community health center, a cancer support and advocacy project, a leadership development program, and a community foundation.

Catherine was a 2005-2006 Chicago Fellow for the Association of Fundraising Professionals  and was profiled in the Windy City Times’ Chicago Gay History Project in 2008.

Catherine earned a BA from DePaul University with a double major in Latin American Studies and Women’s Studies.
